And as always, lean meats like turkey, salmon, and tuna are important as well. For a high protein meal, try mixing fish, chicken, and lean beef together with lentils, brown rice, and nuts.
Another great source of nutrients is calcium. Calcium is extremely important for muscle growth and repair, and also helps to maintain strong bones. As a source of calcium, however, eggs and milk may be best.
Since so many people are concerned about the amount of dairy and calcium in their diets, it might be a good idea to add a bit of calcium to your diet. Adding plenty of leafy greens and veggies to your meals, such as spinach, kale, and lettuce, will help to increase your intake of calcium. Plus, it can be fun to experiment with new flavors in place of regular milk and cheese.
